Throughout my working life, I have always gravitated towards roles in finance and administration. I have always felt comfortable in these types of roles which has translated into it being a strong profession for me, and I pride myself on the standard of my work. I have worked for both small and corporate companies from industries such as aerospace, manufacturing, retail and property management.

What do I have experience in with administration and bookkeeping?

• 13 years' worth of bookkeeping experience with Sage, Quickbooks and Xero accounting software

• A strong knowledge of invoice processing on both sales and purchase ledger

• 7 years of experience preparing and submitting VAT returns 

• Diary and calendar management for staff members, travel arrangements, training records and bookings etc.

• 7 years of basic payroll processing with pension submissions 

• Experience with multi-currency accounts ledgers

• A firm knowledge of Health and Safety paperwork including COSHH Assessments, Risk Assessments, contractor competency checks, safe practices of work etc. 

• Many years of experience with producing Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Database documents and other documents through Microsoft software platforms

• My average typing speed is 47 words per minute

• Experience with audiotyping and transcription

I believe that every day is a school day and as such I am always challenging myself to learn new things. Time doesn't stand still so why should we?
